It’s probably the biggest lie in history! It’s not true, ask any real, professional hair stylist and they will tell you that on average hair grows 1/2 inch every month no matter what you do to it. Trimming it will just make it stay a certain length. Note to anyone who wants to grow their hair: the only true way to grow it is to not cut/trim it. Hair grows from your scalp. If you’re thinking “it’s true, because once you cut the damage your hair doesn’t have to focus on repairing anymore, so it starts growing.” Hair cannot fix damage. Why do you think the only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them? Because your hair can’t repair split ends, damage, or breakage. This lie was probably started by some envious girl who didn’t want anyone to grow their hair.
