Hearing Your Parents Fight

Just because you’re outside doesn’t mean I can’t hear you scream at each other. I get a disagreement, a conflict, but screaming at each other? Someone should be the bigger person and stir the fight into a discussion adults can have. Because, how is this different from elementary school? It hurts me as much as it hurts you, and it should hurt you more, because you’re punching a hole in my life. I’ll probably never get married. Ever. Because I’m terrified of having fights like the ones my parents have sometimes.
